ADAPT Strikes American Hospital Association Conference in DC; Demands
Pelosi Cooperation

ADAPT, the national grassroots disability rights organization, has
taken over the conference of the American Hospital Association at 1919
Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, DC. Speaker of the House Nancy
Pelosi is a featured guest. Unfortunately, Pelosi has yet to muster
serious support for ADAPT's core issue, home and community-based
services, and its corresponding pending Federal bill, the Community
Choice Act (S 683 / HR 1670).

Pelosi is reportedly being interviewed by Sam Donaldson at the conference.
Community choice is an issue of particular concern to women.
