“After our protest and subsequent meeting with the college’s ADA Compliance Officer, we had hoped that the school would recognize the error of their ways and take affirmative steps to improve things,” said SOFEDUP Vice President Adam Warmin. “Sadly we have seen no improvement.”

Things have, in fact, “gotten so bad” that students have begun to file formal complaints with the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and are contemplating litigation against Brooklyn College and the City University of New York.
