Rolling Thunder set to roar tomorrow on ride to benefit disabled vets

Some 200 to 300 bikers are expected to ride in tomorrow's sixth annual three-borough motorcycle ride to benefit Disabled American Veterans.

Hosted by Rolling Thunder Chapter 2, the event starts with a breakfast at the West Shore Little League on Walker Street in Elm Park, and a police-escorted ride through Brooklyn, before ending at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Water Street in Manhattan.


Registration begins at 9 a.m., and bikes will leave at noon.

The cost is $20 per bike, and includes the breakfast and a pig roast party after the ride at The Cellar, 304 Manor Rd., Castleton Corners.
