All of us who are concerned with health care access for low-income communities face a serious crisis.

• This country is spending more than the government brings in every year –“ this is the deficit.

• The Congressional Super Committee must cut the deficit. This means they have to cut spending or raise taxes.

• Both Democrats and Republicans have proposed large cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. This would be horrible for our community.
