The School for Language and Communication Developm
SLCD's motto "Giving Our Children a Voice " reflects our goal to meet the needs of preschool and school age children with severe language and autism spectrum disorders. We believe that students with autism spectrum disorders have underlying language disorders.

McCarton School
The McCarton School provides an educational program for autistic children by using an integrated one-to-one model of therapy that is grounded in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) combined with speech and language therapy, motor skills training, and peer interaction.

The Churchill School and Center
The Churchill School is a K-12 school of approximately 400 students that educates children with learning disabilities.
Our mission is to educate children with learning disabilities in a comprehensive full-day program that, with appropriate accommodations, gives students full access to a general education curriculum.

We offer a unique academic/therapeutic community where children with learning disabilities can achieve their intellectual and emotional potential.

Block Institute
Established in 1962, Block Institute is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people, primarily the developmentally disabled and their families. Through our vast experience, the Agency provides unique and individualized services. The strong partnership between our staff and the community enables each person to achieve greater independence and integration. We believe in the protection of every person's civil rights, including the right to advocate for oneself and others.
