Housing Works

Housing Works is New York's largest AIDS service organization, which strives to improve the lives of tens of thousands of New Yorkers living with AIDS by providing supportive housing, medical care, job training, case management, advocacy and HIV prevention, counseling and testing services. One of their sources of funding is selling donated used books at The Housing Works Used Bookstore on Crosby Street.

Gods Love We Deliver

God's Love We Deliver's mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.
