Hostos Community College
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination based on disability and requires the College to be physically and programmatically accessible. Beyond the basic requirements of the ADA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and New York State and New York City statutes, the college has created an office, Services for Students with Disabilities (SSWD) that provides services to help each student with a disability maximize his or her potential for success. Based on an intake interview and documentation provided by a student, a variety of accommodations may be provided to assist qualified students to attain their academic objectives. Intake and counseling are provided in English and Spanish.

Gwynedd-Mercy College: Disability Support Services
At the time of your acceptance to Gwynedd-Mercy College, or anytime thereafter, a request can be made for accommodations for learning, psychological, and physical disabilities. It is important to allow sufficient time for administrative processing of requests. Within the bounds of its resources, GMC intends to provide reasonable accommodations to meet those challenges and needs so that all students accepted into a program of study can effectively reach their academic and personal goals.

Fordham University: Disabled Student Services
Equal educational access and opportunity for all members of our community is the one unequivocal value underlying the mission of the Office of Disability Services (ODS). In the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, members of ODS staff work with each student individually to better understand his or her strengths and limitations in order to develop an effective accommodation plan.
The Office of Disability Services collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to ensure appropriate services for students with disabilities. Fordham University will make reasonable accommodations, and provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services to assist otherwise qualified persons in achieving access to its programs, services, and facilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
