St. John's University: Services for Students with Disabilities

Services for students with a documented disability are available through the Department of Student Life. All documentation is kept confidential and should be submitted directly to the Student Life administrator. Students (not their parents) requesting accommodations should identify their needs as early as possible. All information regarding the studentâ€™s accommodations is provided to the student.

The Office of Disability Services is a part of the Division of Student Affairs. The Director and staff of the Office of Disability Services will work with you to provide accommodations and services. Services that are offered include :notetaking, reader services, alternative testing, priority registration, personal and academic counseling and tutorial services. Other services may be provided to fit your particular needs.
