The Mid-Hudson Valley Camp is a summer camp that serves a diverse group of people. What started as a one-week summer session for children with disabilities in the 1970s has blossomed into a nine-week camp program that caters to the needs of children and adults with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities, deaf children, children living with cancer, pediatric patients from Harlem Hospital’s Family Care Center, and inner-city students. For over 35 years, the camp has served hundreds of persons with disabilities and continues to provide children, teens, and adults with a joy-filled summer camp experience. |
