The New York Racing Association came into existence in 1955 and controls Belmont Park, Aqueduct, and Saratoga tracks. Races take place year-round at these outdoor and indoor tracks so excitement lasts through the winter months. Giants Stadium
Giants Stadium plays host to four professional New York area teams. The Giants, the Jets, the Metro Stars and the Hitmen call this 55,000 seat stadium, known for its strong wind gusts, home. The stadium was built in 1976 for the Giants, and has hosted football games, both Men's and Women's World Cup Soccer games, marching band competitions, and many concerts.

Richmond County Bank Ballpark
Richmond County Bank Ballpark is the home of the Staten Island Yankees, the New York Yankees' Class A minor league affiliate. The new park seats 6,886 spectators for baseball and 7,500 for events with field seating. Check here to see how you can watch the "Baby Bombers", the 2000 NY Penn League Champions.

168th Street Armory
Home of the "fastest indoor track in the world", the 168th Street Armory is also the new home for the USA Track and Field Hall of Fame. The Armory Track and Field Center has a new Olympic-class, 200 meter, banked, MONDO track and field facility built on a 93,000 square foot drill floor inside the Armory. It is the only facility of its kind within a fifty-mile radius of New York City.
The Armory currently provides ramp access to the 3rd Floor (Track and Field level) from the rear parking deck.
With the addition of the U.S. Track and Field Hall of Fame and Museum, the Armory has begun renovations to include both ramp and elevator service throughout the facility. Accessibility is scheduled to be available sometime in 2002.

Key Span Park
Key Span Park is the newest addition to the list of sports venues in New York City. Home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, the New York Mets' Class A minor league affiliate, Key Span Park seats more than 6,500 spectators.
