4 Wheel City is an entertainment organization started by Namel "Tapwaterz" Norris and Ricardo "Rickfire" Velasquez two talented hip-hop artists and motivational speakers in wheelchairs due to gun violence. Their mission is to use hip-hop music and culture to create more opportunities for the disabled and inspire people not to give up in life. In addition, show the world that people with disabilities can still have talents, dreams, and deserve to be treated equal. 4 Wheel City performs their original music as well as motivational speak at hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, fundraisers, and events, all over the world.

New York City Opera
New York City Opera performs at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center on Manhattan's Upper West Side, between 62nd and 65th Streets and Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues.
The New York State Theater is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Please notify the House Managers at (212) 870-5567 in advance if you or someone in your party will be using a wheelchair or has special access needs so that we can better serve you.
Infrared listening devices are available for the hearing-impaired free of charge at all performances. Listening devices can be picked up at the coat check. A major credit card or driver's license is required to serve as a deposit.
Large print information pages for all performances are available at the New York City Opera information table located on the left side of the orchestra level. Braille libretti may be obtained in advance on free loan from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, Library of Congress...

Tokounou Dance Company
Sidiki Conde is a dancer, drummer and singer from Guinea, West Africa. Sidiki lost the use of his legs at the age of 14 but this did not stop him from his dream of becoming a dancer. Sidiki has performed with the premier dance and music ensembles in Africa. He came to America in 1998 and formed Tokounou, whose music and dances chronicle Sidiki's unique journey as an artist and celebrate the traditional arts of Guinea. Dance and music in Africa are community events where everyone participates and no one is excluded. Tokounou offers performances as well as mixed ability workshops in which participants will learn to sing and play African rhythms on djembe drums and other instruments, as well as traditional dances.

Coalition for Disabled Musicians, Inc.
On February 22, 1986, the Coalition for Disabled Musicians, Inc. (a self-help non-profit organization) was formed. CDM was designed to:
-Introduce disabled musicians to each other who have an understanding of disability-related problems.
-Give access to an accessible rehearsal and recording studio.
-Create "tag-team" systems and other adaptive techniques for pain, endurance, and other limitations.
-Set up studio and stage bands for amateurs and professionals.
-Hold live performances, produce recordings, and hold music workshops and seminars.
-Promote public awareness of the disabled community as a great reservoir of talent and ability.
