Description:
The Advocate's Office is a systems advocacy agency. Our Information and Referral (I&R) service can provide information and technical assistance and direct you to a provider in your geographic area that may be able to further assist you with your request. These community resources may have specific information that we do not have such as lists of accessible housing or locations or specific medical service providers. Although our agency does not operate a prescription coverage program, we can provide a list of programs for which you may be eligible. The agency has access to a wealth of information on the local, state and national level which may provide the exact information and assistance to meet your needs. The agency's information and referral database, SATIRN V, is available on line at www.oapwd.org/satirn . Anyone who has access to the web can search for information as well. SATIRN is regularly being refined and updated. | ||||||
