For parishes, we explain what will enable people with disabilities to participate fully in your community. Read through the Frequently Asked Questions, to learn about the special needs of people with disabilities. Some accommodations (such as an accessible bathroom or elevator) are costly, but many (such as higher wattage light bulbs or large-print bulletins) have a minimal price tag. Tap the list of Resources available to parishes for information, advice and mentoring. You can also review a copy of the Survey used to gather information from our parishes.

For people seeking an accessible parish, whether for a visit or a home community, we describe individual Parishes (PDF file). We identify those parishes that are accessible for worship only and those available for broader participation in the church community. Because the information is largely self-reported, be sure to verify with your selected parish that your specific needs can be met.
